Dancing Again

First Created: July 2026

Medium: Digital collage (PowerPoint)

Artist Note

Something about this woman's face stopped me.

I found myself wondering what she was thinking, what she was feeling, what dreams had come true, and which ones had quietly slipped away. But the longer I sat with her portrait, the less I found myself looking at an older woman—and the more I found myself imagining the child, the dreamer, the dancer who might still be alive within her.

Perhaps that is one of life's quiet miracles.

Our bodies change. Our roles change. Our circumstances change.

Yet somewhere beneath the passing years lives the same curious spirit that once imagined endless possibilities. It remembers. It hopes. It grieves. It loves. And sometimes, when we least expect it, it dances again.

This collage isn't about growing old. It's about discovering what time can never quite erase.

Question

When we become old, which version of ourselves is still dancing inside?

This piece is a living work. What you see here is one version in time.
