This piece began with a child's drawing of two girls dancing in joy. As I worked, something deeper began to emerge.

​

The girls gradually became archetypes—symbols of a creative force that has existed since the beginning of time. A sacred energy that imagines, nurtures, transforms, and gives life to what has never existed before.

​

Across cultures and generations, that creative power has often found its fullest expression through women. Not because it belongs exclusively to them, but because they have long embodied its mysteries: intuition, birth, compassion, resilience, beauty, wisdom, and the quiet courage to create even when the world fails to understand.

​

The symbols woven throughout the collage—the open book, hidden faces, lunar landscape, and radiant light—invite us beyond literal interpretation. They remind us that creativity is not merely something we do. It is something sacred moving through us.

​

Perhaps the Sacred Feminine is less about gender than about a way of being in the world—one that nurtures, connects, imagines, and continually gives birth to new possibilities.

 

Creation did not happen only once. It is happening still.
