Artist Note
Ashanti Goddess began with a photograph I took of an Ashanti Blood tree while wandering through the Truman Annex in Key West.
That island has always stirred me with its vivid colors, visual surprises, and quirky beauty. In this piece, I wanted to capture that sense of discovery — how an ordinary walk can suddenly open into something luminous and mythic.
The tree becomes more than itself here, transformed into a presence that feels both natural and divine — a reminder that wonder often hides in plain sight.
What tree inspires you to stop and take notice?
This piece is a living work. What you see here is one version in time.
